Roberta Carson
Roberta founded Zaggo, Inc. in 2010 to help patients and caregivers manage their own medical ordeals after caring for her son Zachary during his 27 month battle with brain cancer. Roberta founded The Zachary Carson Brain Tumor Fund in 2006 at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute to fund research in diffuse pontine gliomas, raising over $900,000 to date.
Roberta is a Member of The Visiting Committee in Pediatric Oncology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Development Chair of the Board of Directors of The Second Step, a domestic violence agency.

Clare Villari
Clare is involved in healthcare as a Board Member of The Schwartz Center, a non-profit dedicated to advancing health care by strengthening the relationship between clinical caregivers and patients. She also served as the President of the Board of The Second Step, a domestic violence agency.
Clare’s 25 years of business experience includes her role as Sr. Vice President and Partner at Wellington Management Company, LLP, a global investment management firm, where she was the Director of Sub-Advisory Client Service, Member of Executive Committee, Ethics Committee (Chair), Compensation Committee, Fund Review Group, and Marketing Panel.

Paul Carson
Paul started Zaggo, Inc. with his wife Roberta, after caring for their son Zachary. Paul is the Director of Product Development in Communications Infrastructure at Texas Instruments.

Jeremy Bromberg
Jeremy is Principal of Bromberg, LLC, a management consulting firm providing Chief Operating Officer support to entrepreneurs. He has nearly 30 years of professional Operations Management experience, including Managing Director, Operations for Eidetics, a biopharma market research firm; New Product Development Manager at Teradyne, and Manufacturing Manager at Fairchild Semiconductor. Jeremy focuses on helping companies grow and entrepreneurs to achieve their aspirations by defining and managing the transition from early-stage “get it done in any way possible,” to a more scalable and sustainable model.

Mark Bamforth
Mark Bamforth is founder, President and CEO of Gallus BioPharmaceuticals, a premier contract manufacturer. He raised the financing to acquire an existing, licensed site. Today, a highly experience team of 200 is delivering clinical and commercial biopharmaceuticals. Mark utilizes 22 years of experience running global operations and a Pharmaceutical business for Genzyme. Prior, Mark was a chemical engineer in the whisky industry and a petroleum engineer exploring for North Sea oil. Mark serves on the MassBio Board and is a Saltire Foundation Founding Trustee, enabling Scottish entrepreneurs to learn in high growth USA companies. Mark has a BS in Chemical Engineering and an MBA.

Ken Kimmel
Ken has over 20 years of experience as a leader developing innovative strategies that have created hundreds of millions of dollars of business value. Ken is currently a co-founder and President of ON THE SPOT SYSTEMS, the developer of the innovative SURVEY ON THE SPOT, a mobile enabled system that allows retailers and other service focused organizations to easily capture in-the-moment customer feedback cost effectively. Prior to this, Ken spent 13 years in key executive positions at Dunkin’ Brands, including Sr. Vice President, Baskin-Robbins Chief Brand Officer; Vice President, Dunkin’ Donuts Concept; and Vice President, Café 31 Concept Development. These assignments involved responsibility for overseeing brand and strategy development, field operations, marketing and advertising, and franchising and development. Ken holds a B.S. in Business Administration – Management from Syracuse University.

Cynthia Lavenson
Cynthia Lavenson, founder of Lavenson Group, LLC, is an independent marketing strategy consultant to the consumer products, healthcare and medical device industries. Her consulting work focuses on driving innovation in healthcare, particularly in the area of patient engagement, achieving two big “wins”: healthier, happier and more engaged consumers and positive business results.
Cynthia has worked in marketing management at Gillette, Bausch & Lomb, and MCI Telecommunications. Her experience also includes positions as a writer and editor and as a Capitol Hill staff member. She earned an M.B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.

Rabbi Suzanne Offit
Suzanne is an interfaith chaplain with a focus on end of life issues and palliative care. Suzanne is the Rabbi and Staff Chaplain for Hebrew SeniorLife, an 8 site institution for housing, healthcare and medical research for the elderly. Suzanne was ordained at the Rabbinical School of Hebrew College. Her other board affiliations include Gann Academy, Hebrew College, and Hadassah Foundation.

Sheila Rafter
Sheila is Principal of Rafter Communications, a marketing and public relations firm providing services across a range of industries from consumer-focused businesses to B2B high-technology companies and associations. As a veteran with 25+ years of proven results in product/service promotions, marketing communications, and social media initiatives, she develops and executes strategies that assist companies in building their brands and achieving leadership in their markets. Past and current clients include: Adamas Fine Jewelry, Canon, Lotus, IBM, Iron Mountain, and Woodmeister Master Builders, among others. Sheila holds a B.S. in Advertising and Mass Communications from the University of Vermont.

Stuart H. Sadick
Stuart is a Partner with Heidrick & Struggles, the global leadership advisory services firm. His entire business career has focused on advising clients, including issues related to strategy, financial, and human capital. Stuart has held a number of leadership and management roles within his firm. His other current board affiliations include The Second Step, where he serves as Board President. He earned an M.S. in Management from MIT’s Sloan School.
